Former HOT97 / "106 & Park" Mixer DJ Megatron Murdered This Morning

Tragedy happened in Staten Island New York as a veteran deejay was fatally shot.

New York City deejay and on-air personality DJ Megatron, born Corey McGriff was fatally shot this morning in the city's Staten Island borough. Megatron had worked for both HOT 97 (97.1 FM) as well as BET's 106 & Park in his career.

The New York Daily News reported that Megatron was gunned down in the Clifton section, although arrest and detailed information is pending. At present, NYPD spokespeople have said no eyewitnesses were found. Read more at www.hiphopdx.com
