Every week we come across new artists who strive to one day see their name in lights and at the top of the charts! This week Sullee J and Arjun make our list of New Kids on the Block. Listen to their new songs and let us know whose vibe you’re feeling.

Sullee J

What sets you apart on the scene?

Everything I do. I’d have to say for the most part, I bring raw knowledge to the music I make, straight lyricism, and real content. Right now, a lot of the music scene is more so party music, and there’s nothing wrong with music being fun, because in a way most people look at it as business, me, I  look at it as a way of living. Music is a guide, and I’m giving it air to speak.

Tell us about “Weakness of Man.”

The first single off Sullee J’s album Vindication which will be released March 1. An aspiring artist from Baltimore, MD, Sullee J’s creativity, confidence, and dedication to his craft have molded him into an exceptional musician. Sullee J captivates listeners with his lyrics, taking them on a journey through compassion, strife and society’s struggles as he vividly portrays life through his music, allowing the listener to escape into a fresh and raw reality. “Weakness of Man” displays the role of positivity trying to stand up to all the negativity around, i.e. corruption, injustice, hate, crime, and more. The song takes an approach from a conscious perspective. “Weakness of Man” is a beginning, which shows that I (positivity) can be beaten down, emptied out, and tortured, although in the end I will still stand and fight for the right path.

Cowher picks Jets to beat Steelers

Ok......here's my take: Jets win if Big Ben hogs the ball and the offensive line isn't strong enough to hold out for a 1/2 hour (lol). Steelers win if Mark Sanchez doesn't pull a Dr. Sanchez/Mr. Sack move like he does EVERY OTHER WEEK.

Speed and DEFENSE will determine who plays against Green Bay (YEAH I SAID IT) for the Lombardi.

Cowher picks Jets to beat Steelers

Former Steelers coach Bill Cowher doesn’t believe his old team will win the AFC Championship Game and make it to this year's Super Bowl.

During a recent interview on WFAN Radio in New York, Cowher picked the Jets to win their third consecutive road playoff game this Sunday in Pittsburgh, where he was the head coach for 15 years.

“Well, I’ll tell you what, Pittsburgh will have some issues this weekend,” Cowher said. "The way the Jets are playing, I’m telling you this is going to be a game, I think it will be a classic game, and I like the Jets.

“They made a believer out of me last week with what they did, I think they match up well. I think it’s going to be a tough ballgame, but they certainly have all the ingredients.”

Flavor Flav
CLINTON —
He has pumped up concert-goers and swooned reality television audiences, and now the originator of hype is setting his clock for another creative venture — fried chicken.

Reality TV star and Public Enemy group member Flavor Flav said it's time to open Flav’s Fried Chicken. The inaugural location for the fried-chicken franchise will be in Clinton, a move that seems as unlikely as Flavor Flav’s shift from popular musician to television star. But Flav received plenty of help picking the spot for FFC by local restaurateur and FFC business partner, Nick Cimino.
